"Combining the dynamic energy of K-pop, Korean sensibilities and unique imagination, it delivers a new kind of enjoyment while further expanding the horizons of our culture."

Lee thanked co-director Maggie Kang and the film's production team, as well as the composer of "Golden," saying their achievement has made Korea and Koreans around the world proud.

Noting that it took a long time for stories with Koreans as the protagonists to shine at the center of the global stage, Lee expressed hope that the achievement would serve as momentum for the next generation of creators to pursue bigger dreams on the international stage.
