The song portrays “lovers who exchange delicate, almost precarious emotions as they become deeply captivated by one another,” according to his agency Pledis Entertainment.

Hoshi is credited in writing and composing the track. The lyrics, which refers to a love “in different time zones,” reflects “his honest desire to stay true to his feelings in the present,” the HYBE label said.

Pledis Music has continued to publish Hoshi’s solo music during his hiatus as he serves his mandatory military service in Korea’s army, which is required for able-bodied men.

The track “Take a Shot" was released on Sept. 16 last year, the day he enlisted, followed by “Fallen Superstar” on Nov. 11.

Hoshi is scheduled to be discharged on March 15 next year.

His band Seventeen, meanwhile, continues its “NEW_” world tour, which began with concerts in Incheon in September of last year. The group last released its fifth full-length album, “Happy Burstday,” on May 26 last year, marking the 10th anniversary of its debut.
