The Corea Image Communication Institute (CICI) is holding a social media competition through May 10 to promote Korean heritage and culture.
The contest invites participants to freely express their ideas on at least one of the following two themes: imagining the future of Korean heritage and contemporary culture, and the uniqueness of Korean content in the age of AI.
Any Korean or foreigner residing in Korea who is 18 years and older may participate in the contest. Applicants must submit three to 10 promotional graphics in a 4:5 format.
The contest is being held ahead of the 17th Culture Communication Forum, which will take place at the Italian ambassador's residence in Yongsan District, central Seoul, on May 21.
Entries will be evaluated based on their relevance to the theme, creativity, message delivered to viewers and look of completion. The first-round winners will be announced on the CICI website on May 14, and the final winners will be selected via on-site voting during the forum.
“We hope this competition will discover new ideas for K-content that can communicate with the world,” Choi Jung-wha, the president of CICI, said in a statement.
Visit the CICI website for more details, which are available in English.
