The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) said Tuesday it has selected 80 service-related firms with high potential for exports, pledging to support their overseas market expansions.

Kotra plans to provide various support measures to help with their exports, including identifying foreign partners, consulting services and market analysis, as well as participation in overseas business conferences, according to the agency.

The selected enterprises include food franchise companies and firms in the education technology, health care, content and ICT industries.

Kotra said it designed the annual support program in a bid to expand Korea's service exports, which only account for around 15 percent of the country's total exports, lower than the global average of 20 percent.

Through the program, Kotra helped service companies export $13 million worth of goods in 2024 and $17 million in 2025.
