The Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Committee of the cabinet held an expanded meeting the previous day, presided over by Premier Pak Thae-song, to move forward with decisions from the Ninth Party Congress and a subsequent party central committee meeting, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said.
