Korea-Africa Foundation to support 15 startups seeking to enter African markets

The Korea-Africa Foundation said Friday it will offer support to 15 Korean startups this year seeking to enter markets in Africa.
 
Under the program aimed at helping startups expand their businesses overseas, the foundation said it will select the startups after accepting applications through March 31.

It seeks to select seven companies specializing in climate technologies, such as renewable energy, and eight others in technologies designed to support aging populations.
 
The selected companies will undergo fundraising and other preparatory training before taking part in a four-week acceleration program in their respective African markets.
