Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin [NEWS1]
The Seoul Central District Court on Tuesday dismissed Min Hee-jin's request to be reinstated as CEO of ADOR.
Following a court hearing on Oct. 11, the court rejected Min's injunction, which she filed on Sept. 13, that asked the court to order ADOR's board to vote to reinstate her as the CEO of the company.
Min had filed the injunction after ADOR's board of directors voted to remove her as CEO and replaced her with Kim Ju-young, HYBE's head HR officer, as the new CEO in August.
Min sought her reinstatement as CEO, arguing that her dismissal violated her shareholder agreement with HYBE and contradicted a previous court decision made on May 30, which prohibited the exercise of voting rights to remove Min as CEO.
ADOR's board, in an attempt to compromise with Min, voted to extend Min's term on Oct. 17, which was originally set to expire on Nov. 1.
