Ground was broken Tuesday for Seoul Arena, the capital city's first K-pop-centered cultural facility, in Chang-dong in Dobong District, northern Seoul.

Ground was broken Tuesday for Seoul Arena, the capital city's first K-pop-centered cultural facility, in Chang-dong in Dobong District, northern Seoul. 

The arena, set to be completed by March 2027, will include a K-pop concert hall with a capacity of 28,000 concertgoers including 18,269 seats, as well as a 7000-seat concert hall, a movie theater, restaurants and shops.
