Yoon announces $471.4B plan for chip cluster in Gyeonggi

President Yoon Suk Yeol announced a 622 trillion won ($471.4 billion) plan to build "the world's largest" chip cluster in southern Gyeonggi on Monday.
Yoon expects the project to create at least 3 million jobs over the next 20 years.
The comment came during Yoon's opening remarks for a live-streamed policy forum on the semiconductor industry held at Seongkyunkwan University in Suwon, Gyeonggi.
