SM Entertainment's classical and jazz label, SM Classics, will expand its “SM Classics Live” concert series to Hanoi, Taipei and Hong Kong starting in November, bringing its signature blend of K-pop and classical music to more international audiences.

The tour will continue at Ho Guom Opera in Hanoi, Vietnam, on Nov. 5, following earlier performances in Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand.

Conductor Kim Yu-won will lead the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra. Super Junior's Ryeowook and rising violinist Jung Hyun-jun will join as guest performers.

The concert will feature a new violin concerto arrangement of EXO-K's “MAMA” (2014), along with special orchestral renditions of traditional Korean and Vietnamese folk songs.

The Hanoi concert will also take place as part of the “2026 Korea Season,” hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange in collaboration with local Korean Cultural Centers.

The tour will then head to the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, for three performances on Nov. 14 and 15.

Conductor Thanapol Setabrahmana will lead Taiwan's National Symphony Orchestra for the Taipei concerts. Girls' Generation's Yuri will serve as host, while Super Junior's Ryeowook will join as a guest performer.

“SM Classics Live” will continue its Asian tour in Hong Kong next March.

The concert series will take place at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall on March 12, 13 and 14, 2027, as an officially invited program of the 55th Hong Kong Arts Festival.

The Hong Kong concerts, featuring the Hankyung arte Philharmonic, will offer a different lineup each day.

Super Junior's Ryeowook will perform on March 12, followed by Red Velvet's Wendy on March 13. The two singers will then share the stage for a joint performance on March 14.

“The upcoming concerts in Hanoi, Taipei and Hong Kong will mark an important milestone in demonstrating how K-pop music intellectual property can connect with audiences around the world on a deeper level through the universal language of classical music,” an SM Classics official said in a press release.

“We plan to continue expanding the concert series to major cities worldwide, including in North America and Europe, to strengthen our position as a global classical music brand.”

Concert series “SM Classics Live” reinterprets SM Entertainment's hit K-pop songs through classical arrangements and orchestral performances. The series has featured collaborations with renowned orchestras, including the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic and Vienna Symphony.
