A woman was found unconscious near Sinnonhyeon Station carrying multiple propofol vials and syringes, prompting a police investigation into possible drug use.
A preliminary investigation into the woman has been launched on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act, the Seoul Seocho Police Precinct said Monday.
The woman was found unconscious near an exit of Sinnonhyeon Station in Seocho District, southern Seoul, at around 10 p.m. Sunday.
Police found several propofol vials and syringes inside a shopping bag she was carrying. The woman is known to work at a dermatology clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station.
Police plan to investigate whether the woman had actually used narcotics and other circumstances surrounding the case.
