The Seoul Upcycling Plaza (SUP) is set to run an entrepreneurship program for both current and aspiring upcycling startups through November, the Seoul Design Foundation said on Tuesday.

Held from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the building’s fifth floor in Seongdong District, central Seoul, the program aims to guide upcycling startups step-by-step from idea development and branding strategies to mass production and investment pitching.

Participants will also have the opportunity to receive personalized one-on-one mentoring from industry experts.

A “Demo Day” will be held on the last day of the program, where participants will present their business plans to a panel of investors and judges. The winning team will receive 1 million won ($660), while two runner-up teams will each receive 300,000 won.

The program is open to anyone interested in the upcycling business and sustainable brands. More information is available on SUP’s website.
