A three-week-old giant panda cub at Everland has already quadrupled her birth weight — and is starting to look more like her mother.

New photos released by the theme park on Wednesday show the female cub at 21 days old, her distinctive black markings now clearly visible around her eyes, ears, shoulders and limbs. She weighed 670 grams at her latest health checkup, up from 171 grams at birth on June 3.

"Thanks to Ai Bao's skilled mothering, the cub is growing faster than her older sisters did," keeper Kang Cheol-won said. Ai Bao is the resident panda who gave birth to the cub

The cub is the fourth giant panda born in Korea, following Fu Bao in 2020 and twins Rui Bao and Hui Bao in 2023.

The cub is currently under round-the-clock care from Everland keepers, veterinarians and experts from China.
