The Seoul Metropolitan Government will begin accepting applications on Thursday for the fourth edition of its “30 Days in Seoul” program, an initiative designed to help international students in the capital adapt to life and secure employment.

Launched last year, the program blends cultural immersion with practical career preparation. The upcoming session will span six to seven weeks and offer approximately 50 hours of lectures and six distinct cultural experiences, according to the Seoul city government. Students who participated in the previous third edition engaged in activities ranging from picnics along the Han River and local baseball games to visits to the traditional Namsangol Hanok Village.

The city will accept applications from Thursday through July 1, with the aim of recruiting 100 students. Eligible applicants include current international students residing in Seoul and job seekers who have graduated from a Seoul university within the past two years.

Applicants will undergo two rounds of evaluations: a document screening, followed by a video submission. The list of students who pass the first round will be announced on July 3, and the final cohort will be revealed on July 8. Following an orientation on July 13, the program will officially kick off on July 15.

The curriculum is tailored to navigating the Korean corporate landscape. Students will learn legal frameworks, including the Labor Standards Act and the Immigration Act; practical job-hunting skills, such as using AI tools in the recruitment process; and Korean business vocabulary.

Students who complete the program will receive an official certificate issued by the Seoul mayor. Additionally, graduates will be granted a waiver covering up to 4 hours’ worth of credits for the Korea Immigration & Integration Program and receive ongoing support and resources from the Seoul Global Student Center.

Eligible students can submit their applications via the program’s official Instagram account (@30daysinseoul) or by scanning the QR code featured on promotional posters.
