Eight people were injured following a fire in an apartment facilities office in Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang, police and city officials said.

The fire began at 8:29 a.m. after a suspected explosion inside the office where management staff were gathered, according to the officials.

Police plan to investigate the exact cause of the incident once the fire is brought under control.
