Boy band ZeroBaseOne's leader Sung Han-bin donated 100 million won ($66,000) to the children's rights nongovernmental organization Good Neighbors on Friday to mark the third anniversary of the band's debut.

The donation will fund career education and scholarships for children and teenagers from vulnerable families, so they don't give up their dreams due to financial difficulties, Sung's agency, The L1ve Label, said Monday.

"Sung Han-bin wanted to repay the fans who had supported him while he chased his own dream and to pass that support on to children who need it," the agency said in a statement.

Sung debuted as a member of the project boy band ZeroBaseOne on July 10, 2023, which was formed through Mnet's boy band audition program "Boys Planet" (2023). Sung landed second in the audition program.

The band is known for its songs "In Bloom" (2023) and "Top 5."

The band is set to release its second Japanese EP "Kaiki Love" on Aug. 19.
