Woodz, whose real name is Cho Seung-youn, first debuted as a member of boy band UNIQ in 2014. He started his solo career with his stage name, Woodz, in 2018.

The singer-songwriter dropped his fifth EP "OO-LI" on April 2023. "OO-LI" is also his first album released after he moved to EDAM Entertainment.

He took part in writing and composing all seven tracks in "OO-LI," just like how he took part in the production of all five tracks in his fourth EP "COLORFUL TRAUMA"

Woodz started his mandatory military service on Jan. 22, 2024, joining the Army band.

Woodz' performance of "Drowning," a track from "OO-LI" to fellow soldiers on Armed Forces Day during his active military service went extremely viral, causing the track to soar to the top of music charts nearly two years after its release in 2025.

After completing his military service in March of this year, Woodz didn't skip a beat, immediately releasing his new full-length album "Archive. 1," all 17 tracks of which were self-composed.

That same month, Woodz embarked on his "2026 Woodz World Tour 'Archive. 1'" which includes stops at more than 17 cities around the world in Asia, Europe and North America.
