Boy band TWS released a Chinese-language version of “hey! hey!” from its second EP “Summer Beat!” (2024) on Monday, according to its agency Pledis Entertainment.

“hey! hey! (Chinese ver.)” was released at fans’ request after the members performed part of the song in Chinese during the Macao stop of its previous Chinese area tour in January. The group sang the entire track in Chinese for the first time at recent events in Macao on Saturday and Sunday.

“We wanted to give fans a gift that would become a lasting memory,” TWS said during its recent Macao shows. “We hope to grow closer to our fans and deliver our message through songs, dances and language.”

TWS debuted in 2024 with its EP “Sparkling Blue.” The sextet, comprising members Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon and Kyungmin, is known for its songs “Plot Twist” (2024), “If I’m S, Can You Be My N?” (2024) and “Countdown!” (2025).

The group is now on its Asian tour “24/7:FOR:YOU” with eight stops across the continent. It is set to perform in Bangkok on Saturday, in Singapore on Oct. 10 and in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on Oct. 24.
