Laid-back, chill and honest — Tomorrow X Together's Yeonjun will release his second EP "No Labels: Part 02" at 1 p.m. on Friday, an album that may seem quite different from what fans would have expected, but is "more Yeonjun than ever."

"I thought a lot about how to choose the lead track because the previous song 'Talk to You' was so strong," Yeonjun said in a press release on Friday, referring to his previous solo project last year.

"I did think whether this new lead track needed more impact," he continued. "But after I finished recording, I was glad that I chose 'Ice Cream' as the lead track. It's the most me, so to say, out of all the songs on the new album. It shows who I am inside and out."

The new album comes eight months after the first "No Labels" EP, released last November. "Part 02" carries six tracks: lead track "Ice Cream," followed by B-side tracks "Vanilla," "Baby Wassup?," "No More Disco," "Fxxking Star" and "Long Way Long Ride."

Yeonjun took part in making the choreography for "Ice Cream" and also helped write the lyrics for "Baby Wassup?" and "Long Way Long Ride."

"There was a lot of pressure, but I enjoyed every step of the way," the singer said. "I can't forget the fluttering sensation I felt the first time I heard the song. The new album shows who I am, just like the last album, but I wanted to show a more laid-back and chill side of myself along with more diverse music."

The singer debuted as a member of Tomorrow X Together in 2019 with the EP “The Dream Chapter: Star." The group has five members: Soobin, Hueningkai, Beomgyu, Yeonjun and Taehyun.

Yeonjun has officially released three solo projects: Mixtape "Ggum" (2024), first EP "No Labels: Part 01" and the latest EP.

An "Ice Cream" themed pop-up store will take place at the HYBE headquarters building in Yongsan District, central Seoul, from Saturday to July 19.
