A teaser clip for the single was released on the singer’s official social media accounts on Monday. The video shows him standing at the edge of a hill overlooking the sea.

After releasing “The Wave,” Kim will hold two concerts — named after the single — at KBS Arena in Gangseo District, western Seoul, on Aug. 29 and 30.

Kim debuted as a member of boy band TVXQ under SM Entertainment in 2003. He and fellow members Kim Jun-su and Park Yoo-chun left the band in 2009 and formed the trio JYJ in 2010.

He began his solo career with the EP “I” in 2013 and founded Inkode in 2023.

Kim has also remained active in Japan. He released the Japanese digital single “Oasis” in May and embarked on his “Zepp & Hall” tour that same month.

Alongside his singing career, he appeared in the horror film “The Shrine,” directed by Japanese director Kazuyoshi Kumakiri.
