Netflix is set to launch a K-pop girl group audition program, the global streaming platform announced Wednesday.

Titled “We Go High,” the program will feature students at arts high schools competing for a chance to debut as members of a K-pop girl group.

Applications opened Wednesday. Female students in their first or second year at arts high schools or high schools offering broadcasting-related programs, as well as those set to enroll in such schools in 2027, are eligible to apply.

Producers Park Jin-kyung, who worked on Netflix's reality show “Zombieverse” (2023-24), and Lee Jae-seok, who worked on the survival show “The Influencer” (2024), will lead the upcoming audition program.

Netflix and entertainment powerhouse SM C&C have also signed a memorandum of understanding to support the girl group formed through the program beyond its debut. The two companies will work together to develop the group, support its activities and help its members expand their presence on the global stage.
