NCT’s Jeno voted K-pop star with most beautiful teeth

Jeno of boy band NCT Dream has been selected as the K-pop star with the most beautiful teeth, according to the fan-voting platform Picnic.

In the poll, which ran from Aug. 19 through Sept. 2, Jeno came in first with 107,900 votes. Boy band Seventeen’s DK ranked second with 104,535 votes, followed by girl group fromis_9’s Baek Ji-heon with 101,257 votes.

According to Picnic, Jeno’s selection is attributable to his contrasting image as the rapper of NCT Dream, with a strong stage presence while showing his sweet and gentle side when communicating with fans. His bright smile has long been one of the defining images associated with him among fans, the fan-voting platform said.

Marking the 10th anniversary of NCT’s debut this year, its agency SM Entertainment is holding festivals across Seoul to celebrate, including events at Banpo Hangang Park and Seoul Fashion Week.

NCT was formed in 2016 with a concept that allows its subunits to expand freely. Its subunits, including NCT 127, NCT Dream and NCT Wish, have expanded in various ways according to their respective purposes and concepts. Jeno is active in three subunits, including NCT U and NCT JNJM.

“An artist’s image among fans is created not only through their performances on stage but also through small elements such as the expressions and smiles they show in their everyday lives,” a Picnic spokesperson said. “Jeno’s first-place finish shows that the bright and healthy image he has built through his long career has become a personal brand among global fans.”
