NCT 127 to mark 10th anniversary with a seventh album and fifth tour

The group will celebrate a decade since its debut with a seventh full-length album on Aug. 24 and launch its fifth world tour in Seoul in September.

Boy band NCT 127 will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a seventh full-length album on Aug. 24 and a fifth world tour that opens in Seoul in September, its agency, SM Entertainment, said Wednesday. 

"The seventh full-length album will look back on the band's decade-long journey, while also promising on the future based on the solid pride and trust in the team, the K-pop agency said. 

The upcoming album will be NCT 127's first full-length album in about two years. 

The tour, titled "Neo City - The Redline," will kick off with a three-day concert at the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul from Sept. 18 to 20. The band will perform in Jakarta, Indonesia on Oct. 3; Hong Kong on Oct. 10 and 11; Singapore on Oct. 18; Bangkok on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1; and Taipei, Taiwan on Jan. 2, 2027. Additional cities will be announced through the group's social media accounts.

The tour follows NCT 127's previous outing, "Neo City – The Momentum."

NCT 127, a subgroup of NCT, debuted July 7, 2016 under SM Entertainment with the EP "NCT #127" and its lead track "Fire Truck." 

The band has since built a following with tracks such as "Cherry Bomb" (2017), "Kick It" (2020) "2 Baddies" (2022), "Fact Check" (2023) and "Walk" (2024).
