K-pop stars are vying for summer hits as a slew of veteran soloists gear up to make their long-awaited comebacks this month.
U-Know Yunho of TVXQ is set to release his new single "Time's Tickin'" on July 20, his agency SM Entertainment said Tuesday.
Inspired by its naming, "Time's Tickin'" will feature the ticking sound of a clock with rhythmic rap and vocals as an upbeat contemporary pop dance song, according to his agency. The lyrics are penned by U-Know Yunho himself and convey the artist's message of unwavering sincerity and determination despite the passage of time.

The single is also set to feature an additional track, "An Ordinary Story."
The physical edition of "Time's Tickin'" is available for purchase at music retailers, which now accept preorders.
Lee Min-hyuk of boy band BTOB, also known as Huta for his rapper persona, will release his new single album "Temperature" on July 15, according to his agency BTOB Company on Tuesday.
A clip featuring boxing gear dropped on Monday. The visuals, directed by Lee himself, are carried over from his previous EP album, "Hook" (2025). It also featured phrases: "Race Mode," "No Brakes" and "No Free Practice in Life."
Young K, bassist of rock band DAY6, is set to release his solo full-length album "Youngest" on July 27. It will be his solo career comeback in 2 years and 10 months, the band's agency JYP Entertainment said on Monday.

Singer Hyolyn, a member of now-disbanded girl group Sistar, will release her fourth EP, "OriginaLyn," on July 22.
The name of the upcoming EP is a combination of "original" and "Lyn," which stands for the artist. It delivers a meaning to present the artist's true self. The title track will be "ChecK."
Hyolyn debuted as a member of Sistar in 2010, and the group ended group activities in 2017. She has pursued her solo career since 2013. Her latest single was "Standing On The Edge" (2025).
