International Dance League brings Seoul showdown between 1Million, Jam Republic

A heated dance battle is set to take place in Seoul this August as the International Dance League (IDL) heads to Korea for the fourth stop of its inaugural season.

The Seoul series will take place at Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Hall on Aug. 1.

The IDL is a professional dance league, and this year features six crews — Korea's 1Million, Canada's Brotherhood, Southeast Asia's Jam Republic, Norway's Quick Style, New Zealand's Royal Family and the United States' GRV — competing across five global stages for the league championship.

One of the biggest matchups to look forward to in the Seoul series is the showdown between Korea's 1Million and Southeast Asia's Jam Republic. The two crews previously faced off on Mnet's "Street Woman Fighter" (2021-25) series.

1Million currently sits at No. 2 in the league standings with 17 points, while Jam Republic is at No. 4 with 13. Brotherhood is currently leading the league, while GRV stands at No. 3 with 15 points, Royal Family at No. 5 with 12 and Quick Style at No. 6 with nine.

"With only two series remaining before the championship, every match in Seoul carries significant importance," an IDL official said. "From the home showdown between 1Million and Jam Republic to every other matchup, each battle is expected to leave a lasting impression on fans."

The previous three IDL events took place in New York, Vancouver and Sydney, all of which sold out according to its organizer.
