Solo artist Evan, formerly known as Heeseung of boy band Enhypen, has released a documentary that offers a glimpse into his journey of making his first solo EP "Death of Me."

Titled "Evan Documentary 'Death of Me,'" the video was released Monday on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel.

"The documentary highlights his growth as a self-producing artist and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of his solo debut EP, 'Death of Me,'" his agency Belift Lab said.

The documentary shows Evan taking an active role in every stage of production — from songwriting sessions and recording to vocal and dance lessons and music video meetings — and personally overseeing the details of both the album and his performances.

Released on Sept. 7, "Death of Me" marked his first album since his sudden departure from Enhypen earlier this year.

Evan first debuted in November 2020 as a member of the seven-member boy band Enhypen under HYBE's Belift Lab. In March, the agency unexpectedly announced that Evan, then known as Heeseung, would leave the band to pursue a solo career. Unlike many artists who part ways with both their bands and agencies, Evan remained with Belift Lab.

He then launched his solo career under the name Evan and released his first solo single, "Ride or Die," in June.
