Korea's national treasure, the London Eye and now New York's Grand Central Terminal — K-pop megaband BTS will take over New York's central hot spot with its "The City" event as part of its ongoing "Arirang" world tour.

For "BTS The City Arirang - New York," BTS's agency HYBE will fill parts of the train station with BTS-themed deco along with exhibits and experience zones for commuters and tourists of New York to get a taste of BTS, K-pop and Korean culture.

From July 30 to Aug. 3, the event will transform the main hall of the terminal to the "Arirang" theme along with red-colored posters for BTS. An "ARMY Madang" will be held inside the Vanderbilt Hall to display the costumes that BTS wore during its 2019 Wembley Stadium performance. A namesake "Customize Your T-shirt" event will also be held.

"The City" will also be filled with experience zones and brand booths for visitors to enjoy Korean culture and brands, in partnership with the Korea Culture Center New York. K-beauty brand Tirtir, bakery franchise Tous les Jours and Korea's famed four-cut photo booth Photoism will take part.

A welcome party, dance-off event and other collaborations will be announced at a later date.

BTS is set to perform at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Aug. 1 and 2 as part of its ongoing "Arirang" tour.
