Boy band Stray Kids' Bang Chan, Lee Know and I.N spent a day as teachers at the Samsung Medical Center's hospital school as part of their agency JYP Entertainment's environment, society and governance, or ESG, efforts.

During the event, the three members taught English, art and writing to pediatric patients using the track "Youtiful" (2023) from the band's third full-length album "5-STAR" (2023). The song title combines the words in the phrase "You're beautiful."

Bang Chan, an Australian national, taught the children English by helping them understand the lyrics of "Youtiful," while Lee Know took the lead for art. The members then helped the kids write letters expressing their love and gratitude to their families. The children also wrote to the three members to thank them, according to JYP Entertainment.

"The word 'Youtiful' is so beautiful," the children told the agency. "Today was so fun. We'll eat well, sleep well and continue receiving treatment. We hope that we can see [the members] again after we get healthy."

The class was part of JYP Entertainment's social contribution project, "JYP 4 Earth," through which the agency's artists and staff participate in various charity works, including volunteering and donating. JYP Entertainment posted a video about the latest event on its official YouTube channel on Thursday.

"I think that the kids touched my heart more [than the other way around]," said I.N. "I will try harder to become a singer who can give […] hope to children."

"Reading the students' letters made me very emotional," Bang Chan said. "It was an unforgettable day. I would really like to come back again."

Stray Kids headlined The Governors Ball Music Festival earlier this month. The band will participate in a new festival, dubbed "Straycity," scheduled to take place in Brazil in September.
