Boy band NCT's Jaehyun to release single '99 Degrees'

The singer participated in composing and writing the lyrics, which convey the message that true love is found in imperfection, with 99 degrees Celsius (210.2 degrees Fahrenheit) being one degree short of boiling.

Boy band NCT’s Jaehyun will release the single “99 Degrees” on July 10, his agency SM Entertainment announced on Friday.

Jaehyun participated in composing and writing the lyrics for “99 Degrees,” which opens with a delicate piano melody that gradually grows stronger as other instruments join, according to the agency.

The lyrics convey the message that true love is found in imperfection, with 99 degrees Celsius (210.2 degrees Fahrenheit) being one degree short of boiling.

Jaehyun kicked off his fan concert series “Mono” at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa District, southern Seoul, on June 6 and 7, then moved to Macau; Jakarta,  Indonesia; and Bangkok. He will perform in Taipei, Taiwan, on Saturday and Sunday. 

Jaehyun debuted in 2016 as a member of the boy band NCT. He is a member of several NCT subunits, including NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dojaejung.
