Boy band Enhypen released an English version of “Bloody Paradise” featuring Brazilian singer-songwriter Luísa Sonza on Wednesday, its agency Belift Lab said that same day.

The band released the original version of “Bloody Paradise” on Monday. The Brazilian funk dance track captures the sensual yet romantic emotions of lovers completely absorbed in each other, according to Belift Lab.

“Sonza’s sultry, captivating vocals give the song a distinct appeal from the original,” the agency said in a press release. “Her […] voice blends in with the signature Brazilian funk rhythm of ‘Bloody Paradise,’ further bringing out the track’s Brazilian [origin].”

Enhypen debuted under Belift Lab, a subsidiary of HYBE, in November 2020. The band originally comprised seven members: Sunghoon, Jay, Jake, Jungwon, Sunoo, Heeseung and Ni-ki. Heeseung, who recently changed his stage name to Evan, left the band in March to pursue a solo career.

The band made its first appearances at Latin American venues last month as part of its “Blood Saga” world tour. The band sold out a 41,000-seat stadium in São Paulo, Brazil — the first city in the tour’s Latin American leg — for its show on July 4 and added two additional concerts to its stop in Mexico City.

Enhypen also appeared on the Brazilian late-night talk show “The Noite com Danilo Gentili” (2014–) in July.
