Blackpink's Jisoo to return with new single 'Click' in September

Blackpink’s Jisoo will release her new single “Click” on Sept. 4, her agency Blissoo said on Tuesday.

The single comes one year and seven months after her first solo EP “Amortage,” released in February last year.

The singer teased the release on Monday by sharing a poster, countdown page and video on her official app and Blissoo’s social media accounts. The poster depicts a heart symbol and the word “Click” against a shadowed pink background, and the website sets a countdown to the release against an eerie amusement park backdrop.

Jisoo debuted as a member of Blackpink under YG Entertainment in 2016. The group is known for songs such as “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” (2018), “Kill This Love” (2019) and “Pink Venom” (2022).

She has pursued a solo career under Blissoo ever since her exclusive contract with YG Entertainment expired in 2023. She also recently appeared in the Netflix series “Boyfriend on Demand,” which premiered in March.
