Girl group BabyMonster’s Thai member Chiquita has been named the K-pop artist most associated with the title of “main dancer,” according to fan-voting platform Picnic.

In the poll, which ran from May 29 through June 12, Chiquita topped the rankings with 252,614 votes. Boy band AlphaDriveOne’s Arno came in second with 232,061 votes, closely followed by ZeroBaseOne’s Sung Han-bin, who received 226,567 votes.

Picnic said Chiquita’s selection was driven by her exceptional performance skills and choreography videos that continue to gain attention from fans around the world.

The platform added that Chiquita, who was recognized as a promising next-generation dancer, is now considered an all-rounder member capable of showcasing not only her dance skills but also her vocals and rap abilities.

BabyMonster is currently touring across five continents — Asia, North America, Oceania, Europe and South America — as part of its world tour, with 29 performances scheduled across 18 cities worldwide.

Picnic hosts weekly polls on a wide range of K-pop topics in collaboration with the Korea JoongAng Daily.
