aespa shows off new album featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Becky G at press event — in pictures

Girl group aespa held a press conference at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel in southern Seoul, on May 28, one day before the official release of its new album “Lemonade.”

The album marks aespa’s second full-length release since “Armageddon,” which came out two years ago. It includes the lead track “Lemonade,” the prerelease song “WDA (Whole Different Animal)” featuring G-Dragon, the B-side “Switchblade” featuring hip-hop artist Ty Dolla $ign, and another version of “Lemonade” alongside Latin singer Becky G. The latter is exclusively available on the digital version of the album.

During the press event, the four members — Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning — posed for photos, introduced the album and answered questions from the media.

aespa is also gearing up to embark on a new world tour, “SYNK: COMPLaeXITY," beginning with two concerts in Seoul on Aug. 7 and 8.

“Lemonade” drops on Friday at 1 p.m.
