3 groups, 1 stage: HYBE's Le Sserafim, ILLIT and Katseye release music video for collaborative track

The new Avengers of pop music? Girl groups Le Sserafim, ILLIT and Katseye — all under HYBE — released the music video for their collaborative track “Iconic By Mistake” on Thursday.

The video, which features all three groups, was released on HYBE’s official YouTube channel. The song is a special collaboration between HYBE's three active girl groups, each managed by a different label: Source Music for Le Sserafim, Belift Lab for ILLIT and HYBE and Geffen Records for Katseye.

The three will also perform on Mnet's weekly music show “M Countdown” (2004–) at 6 p.m. on Thursday, according to HYBE. The track will then be released on music streaming platforms at 1 p.m. on Friday.

The video surpassed 4.5 million views within the first nine hours of its release.

Le Sserafim debuted in 2022 with the EP “Fearless.” The quintet recently released its second full-length album, “Pureflow pt.1,” in May.

ILLIT debuted in 2024. The quintet is scheduled to embark on its first Japan tour, spanning 11 concerts, from Saturday to July 25.

Katseye also debuted in 2024 and picked up three trophies at the American Music Awards, including New Artist of the Year, in May.
