Actors Kim Seon-ho and Han So-hee are in talks to appear in a new drama series written by star screenwriters Hong Jeong-eun and Hong Mi-ran.

Kim’s agency Salt Entertainment confirmed to the Korea JoongAng Daily that the actor is “under positive consideration” for the lead of “Can This Love be Interpreted” (translated). Han is reportedly also in talks for appearing in the drama series, according to local reports.

Screenwriters Hong Jeong-eun and Hong Mi-ran, known collectively as the Hong sisters, have written a number of hit drams including “My Girl” (2005-2006), “My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox” (2010), “The Greatest Love” (2011), “Master’s Sun” (2013), “Hotel del Luna” (2019) and “Alchemy of Souls” (2022-2023).

“Can This Love be Interpreted” will be about a top celebrity and an interpreter who fall in love.

Kim debuted through a stage role in the play “New Boeing Boeing” in 2009, before making his screen debut in 2017 with the office drama “Good Manager.” He made a breakthrough with the 2020 drama “Start-Up,” after which he rose to stardom with “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” (2021). Kim made his film debut this year in director Park Hoon-jung’s “The Childe.”

Han began her career with supporting roles in dramas such as “Money Flower” (2017), “100 Days My Prince” (2018) and “Abyss” (2019) before rising to leading status in the 2020 drama “The World of the Married.” She has since starred in “Nevertheless” (2021) and the Netflix original “My Name” (2021).
