Sailors from the Korean Navy’s 2nd Fleet tour the remains of the corvette Cheonan at a memorial hall in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi, on Monday to celebrate Yellow Sea Protection Day. The government named the day in 2016 to commemorate armed forces personnel killed in attacks by North Korea, including the 46 sailors who perished when North Korea sank the Cheonan in 2010 and the 13 who were killed in the Second Battle of Yeonpyeong in 2002.
